DUPLEX 2205/31803/1.4462

Duplex 2205/31803/1.4462 is challenging to machine due to its strong power. Solid, rigid machines with low vibration are advised, and carbide tooling would necessitate slower feed speeds. The 2205/31803/1.4462 Duplex plate is readily welded, but proper filler materials (such as 2209, which is over-alloyed with extra nickel) should be used to avoid unnecessary ferrite forming.

Duplex Steel 2205/31803/1.4462 Plate has the general characteristics of being an extra low carbon duplex stainless steel with a yield power almost double that of austenitic stainless steels.

SUPER DUPLEX 32750/32760/ZERON 100/2507

For increased corrosion resistance, Super Duplex stainless steel offers all of the advantages of Duplex stainless steel with the addition of a higher proportion of chromium and molybdenum. Super duplex stainless steel is frequently used in the oil and gas industry for heat exchangers, offshore platforms, chemical processing equipment, boilers, and pressure vessels.
