INCONEL ALLOY

Inconel is a nickel-chromium alloy that exhibits excellent resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures and to carburizing and chloride-containing environments. Inconel  is a nickel-chromium alloy that is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit (1093 deg C). Due to the alloy’s high nickel content, it retains significant resistance under reducing conditions and is resistant to corrosion by a variety of organic and inorganic compounds. Due to the nickel content, it is extremely resistant to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also to alkaline solutions. Due to the alloy’s high chromium content, it is resistant to sulphur compounds and a variety of oxidising environments. Due to the alloy’s chromium content, it outperforms commercially pure nickel under oxidising conditions.

HASTELLOY

With the addition of tungsten, Hastelloy is a superalloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, and chromium with excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of harsh environments. When exposed to reducing environments, the high nickel and molybdenum content of the nickel steel alloy make it particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, while the high chromium content provides resistance to oxidising environments.

MONEL ALLOY

Monel has a wide range of mechanical properties that vary according to the supply condition, with exceptional properties at sub-zero temperatures. Even when cooled to the temperature of liquid drogen, it does not undergo a ductile-to-brittle transition.

Additionally, it has advantageous short-term high temperature properties when hot rolled and annealed, and its toughness is maintained over a wide temperature range.
